Within Vacation Tracker you are able to create different leave types (such as Paid Time Off; Sick Days; Working from Home; etc.) which you can then connect to different leave policies which are assigned according to location. The leave policies include options such as "Approval Required"; "Allowing Negative Balance"; "Allow Half-Days"; etc.

You can easily create and edit different leave types through our online dashboard by following these steps:



Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard ( https://app.vacationtracker.io/ )
On the left-hand side click on Leave Types and you will be taken to a new page
On the top left-hand side click the Create Leave Type button
A new pop-up will open which you will be able to fill in according to your preferences:

Under Name you would put the name of the leave;

You would select the leave type color by clicking on the colored rectangle;

Once you are done editing the information click Save

If you would like to edit any of the leaves you can easily do so by clicking on the Edit button on the right-hand side of any leave.
