An Approver is able to add a leave for a User in the past, a current leave and to add a leave in the future. To add a leave for a User, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker online dashboard (
Once logged in, on the left-hand side click on the Leave Requests drop down menu

Two options will show click on "Add Leave"

Once on the new page you can enter the necessary information:

in the "Select a User" field click on the drop-down and select the user you would like to add the leave for
Use the "Request" drop-down menu to select the leave type
Add the "Start and End Date" for the leave
Finally, if you would like to add a reason for the leave you can write in the "Reason" text box

Once you are done entering the information click "Add Leave" and the leave will be added for the user

Please keep in mind, you must be an Approver of the team the User is part of in order to add leave for the User.
