Once you sign up with Vacation Tracker your whole team will be set to one team by default, the Default Team. However, if like us, you have multiple teams or you are separated according to departments, you can create additional teams to manage your requests and to assign different approvers.

To create a new team, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard ( https://app.vacationtracker.io/ )
On the left-hand side click on Teams
Once on the page, click on the Create New Team button found on the left-hand side
A new page will open, you can now enter the necessary information

For the name, you want to enter the name of the team
Under the Users field you can select which users will belong to the team
Under the Approver field you can select which user(s) will be the Approver(s) for this team
If you would like to receive notifications specifically for this team, you would turn on the “Set Notifications” option. For detailed steps on activating notifications please go to: Microsoft Teams: How Do I Set Team Notifications

Finally, click Create Team
