You can choose to automatically sync your Slack workspace to Vacation Tracker which would automatically add all existing and new users. These users would be able to use Vacation Tracker at any time. However, if only one or a few teams from your workspace use Vacation Tracker the automated sync of your workspace may be off. In that case, you would have to add new users to Vacation Tracker manually and activate existing users manually.

To activate users manually, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard (
On the left-hand side click on Team Members
On the right-hand side click on the button Sync (Slack Users)
The system will import all of the workspace users as inactive
On the left-hand side you will see a drop down menu option called "Show team members by status"
Select Inactive and all of the inactive users will show

On the right-hand side of each user you want to edit click on the 3 dots (...)
Select Activate and the user will be activated in Vacation Tracker

If your team does not have the automated sync off, all of the users will be automatically added to Vacation Tracker as an active User. In case you are missing any users, click on the Sync with Slack button to re-sync your workspace.
