Once you sign up with Vacation Tracker your whole Slack workspace will be set to one team by default, the Default Team. However, if like us, you have multiple offices in different location or you are separated according to departments, you can create additional teams to manager your requests and to assign
different Approvers.

To create a new team, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard (dashboard.vacationtracker.io)
On the left-hand side menu click on Teams
On the Teams page, on the right-hand side click on Create New Team
Under Name you want to enter the name of the team; to select team member(s) and approver(s) start typing the name of the User and select the user to add them to the list.
Once you are done updating the information click Create



Please keep in mind, a User can only be a member of one team at a time. However, an Approver can be an Approver of multiple teams and a team can have multiple Approvers.
