You can make a User or an Administrator an Approver within Vacation Tracker using either of the following two ways:

To make a User an Approver within Vacation Tracker through the Team Members page, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard (dashboard.vacationtracker.io)
On the left-hand side click on Team Members
Find the user in question and on the right-hand side of the user click on the three dots (...) and click Edit
A drop-down menu will appear, you want to select Make Approver
A new pop-up option will show allowing you to select a team or teams you want the User to become and Approver of
Once you are done selecting, click Save



To make a User an Approver within Vacation Tracker through our Teams page, please follow these steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker Dashboard (dashboard.vacationtracker.io)
On the left-hand side click on Teams
On the right-hand side of any team click on the three dots (...) and click Edit
On the new page, under Approvers start typing a User's name and select once the drop down shows the User
Click Save and the User will become an Approver of the team.



By making the user an approver, you are allowing the user to approve or deny leave requests submitted by other users from the team. Making this user an approver won’t allow the user to have full access and make changes to the company settings.
