How Do I Set an Approver within Vacation Tracker?

Maybe your department is expanding or maybe you just need an extra pair of hands approving all those incoming leaves. This is a great time for you to make a User or an Admin, an Approver.

And here is how to do it!

First things first, sign in to your dashboard -

On your left-hand side, under Settings, click on Departments

Once on the Departments page, click on the 3 dots (...) next to a department and select Edit Department from the drop-down menu

General Setting will open up, and under the Approvers enter the name of the User or Admin you wish to add as an Approver for this department

Once you are done, click on Update Department and your changes will be saved

By making the user an Approver, you are allowing the User or Admin to approve or deny leave requests submitted by other users from the department. Approvers also have access to view their Users' profile pages, which includes their leave quotas and leave history. Making a (regular) User an Approver won’t allow the user to have full access and make changes to the company settings.
