How Do I Notify (Announce) Vacation Tracker to Active Users?

If you have completed your Vacation Tracker setup and wish to announce Vacation Tracker to your team(s) by sending out a notification, you can easily do so by following these steps:

Using Vacation Tracker Integration - Google
Using Vacation Tracker Integration - Slack
Using Vacation Tracker Integration - Microsoft Teams

Google

Go to our online dashboard (app.vacationtracker.io) and click on Connect with Google
Once on the online dashboard, find the announcement button in the top right-hand corner

Click on the button and a new pop-up will show
Enter an email address or multiple email addresses to who you wish to send the notification to

Click on Send Announcement and the following email will be sent:

Slack

Go to our online dashboard (app.vacationtracker.io) and click on Connect with Slack
Once on the online dashboard, find the announcement button in the top right-hand corner

Click on the button and a new pop-up will show
Select the channel where you wish to send the notification to

Click on Send Announcement and the following notification will be sent:

Microsoft Teams

Go to our online dashboard (app.vacationtracker.io) and click on Connect with Microsoft Teams
Once on the online dashboard, find the announcement button in the top right-hand corner

Click on the button and a new pop-up will show
Select the channel where you wish to send the notification to

Click on Send Announcement and the following notification will be sent:

Please keep in mind, anyone in the selected channel will be able to see the notification sent (both for our Microsoft Teams and our Slack integration).
