How Do I Set an Administrator within Vacation Tracker?

Just as you can make a User an Approver, you can promote a user to an Administrator.

Let’s see how it’s done!

First things first, sign in to your dashboard -

On the left-hand side click on Users

Next, you want to choose the User you wish to promote and their profile page will open up

Once on their profile page, you will see a User Profile box. Click on Edit

A pop-up will appear. For now, the only thing you are changing is the Role field. From the drop-down menu choose Administrator

When you are done editing, click on Update and your settings will be saved

Please note that if you wish to deactivate another Admin, their role must first be changed back to a User. Once that's done, you will be able to deselect the Active option.

By making this user an admin you are allowing the user to have full access and to make changes to your company’s settings. Please note that making this user an admin will not give them approval privileges. If you wish to do so, please read: How Do I Set an Approver within Vacation Tracker?
Slack Users: If you are using our Slack integration, you may see an additional role called the Owner role. The Owner role is pulled from your Slack workspace and this role has the same privileges as an Admin within Vacation Tracker. You can update an Owner role; however, you must leave at least one active Owner role within Vacation Tracker.
