Slack: Slack Error Message: ``Apologies, but you are not authorized to install Vacation Tracker`` During the Signup / Login to the Dashboard

This article is a step-by-step guide solely for the Slack integration.

If you are seeing the following error message during our Slack integration signup or login, it is because the Slack workspace owner has limited permissions for installation and usage of Slack apps for your workspace.

The Solution

The owner of the Slack workspace would need to go the following Slack page:

https://slack.com/apps/manage/permissions

Then enable the “Approved Apps” option and to approve Vacation Tracker integration.
