Employee Onboarding: What Roles Can I Assign in Vacation Tracker?

If you and your team would like clarification on what roles can be assigned in Vacation Tracker, don't worry we're here to help!

There are currently three types of roles within Vacation Tracker:


Each role has specific permissions within your account, and enables different abilities.

The Admin has the highest level of permissions and is able to create and configure all of the account settings, such as Leave Types, Leave Policies, Locations, and Departments. They can also import users, activate and deactivate users and export leave reports.

The Approver can respond to their users' leave requests, view their users' profile pages and set notifications. They can also add leaves for their users and cancel any pending leaves.

The User is able to access their profile page, request, leaves, edit and delete their upcoming leaves and view the holidays for their locations. Users can also view their leave quota balances, see their leave history and their logs on their profile page.
