Can I Set an Expiry Date for Brought Forward (Transferred) Days?

Yes, you can! Within Vacation Tracker, we provide you with an option to set a Brought Forward policy within your Leave Policies section!

For steps and information on setting the Brought Forward policy, please see the following article: How Do I Set a Brought Forward (Rollover) Policy?

Once you have a brought forward policy in place, you may want to add an expiry date for those transferred days! To do so, please use the following steps:

Go to the Vacation Tracker online dashboard: app.vacationtracker.io/signin

On the left-hand side click on Locations

Click on Leave Policies and select the Leave Policy you'd like to set the expiry date to.

Once on there, click on the Edit option on the right-hand side of the page.

In the new window, go to the Brought Forward Settings and select Yes in the section Should Brought Forward days expire?

Then, select the month and day the days will expire on.

When finished selecting the date, click Update to save the changes.

And you're all set! The Brought Forward expiry date will now be visible on the user's profile page under the Leave Quotas section

If you need to set a custom quota for an individual user, please see this article: How Do I Customize Leave Quotas for Individual Users?
