How Do I Check My Remaining Leave Balance?
You want to schedule a leave but you are not sure how many days you have left? No worries, we are here to help you check your remaining leave balance!
You can do this in two ways:
Using our - Online Dashboard
Using Vacation Tracker Integration - Slack
Using Vacation Tracker Integration - Microsoft Teams
First things first, sign in to your dashboard - https://app.vacationtracker.io/signin
Click on your name or your profile picture on the top right-hand side
Once on your profile, scroll down to the Leave Quotas section
In any chat, type /vacation to activate the bot and push enter
Once the bot responds you want to click on My Status and you will see the summary of your leaves for the current and the next year
Open your Microsoft Teams application and click on Chats on the left-hand side. Find the Vacation Tracker chat and click on it (you can also do this by searching for Vacation Tracker in the search box at the top of your MS Teams while in chats)
Once you open the bot, select the My Profile tab at the top of the page
On this tab you should see your profile information just as you would on the online dashboard, scroll down to the Leave Quotas section
Additionally, when using the Request Leave tab, the balances will be updated in real-time, to let users know how many days they're requesting and how many they will have available when the request goes through:
After checking your leave balances, you may want to go ahead and request a leave! To view the steps on how to do this, please see the following article: How Do I Request a Leave?
