How Do I Request an Hourly Leave?

Please note that this option is only available for users subscribed to the Complete plan.

Users who are subscribed to our Complete plan can request hourly leaves in a few simple steps! As long as the hourly option has been enabled by the Vacation Tracker Admin, this can be done quickly and easily. Here's how to do this:

Using the Online Dashboard (Email and Google Workspace Users)

Log into your online dashboard by going to app.vacationtracker.io
Select the Request Leave option on the left-hand side of the page
Select the hourly option in the leave type drop down list
Select the date, choose the hour(s) that you will be away and the reason (if required)

Once you click on Request Leave, you're all set!

Using Microsoft Teams

Open your Microsoft Teams app and select the Vacation Tracker chat on the left-hand side
Activate the bot by entering the Request Leave command
The bot will appear, where you will be able to select the leave type

Select the leave type with the hourly option indicated
Select the date and hour(s) that you will be away
Click on Submit to send your leave request to your Approver(s)!

You can also use the Request Leave tab to submit your hourly leave requests to your Approver(s):

As well as the Request Leave buttons on the My Profile tab and the Vacation Tracker Overview tab

Using Slack

Open your Slack app and select Vacation Tracker under the Apps section or activate the bot using /vacation from any conversation
Once the bot appears, select the leave type with the hourly option indicated
Select the date and hour(s) that you will be away
Click on Submit and you're all set!

If you do not see the hourly option in the drop down list, you may have to ask your Vacation Tracker Admin to enable this option in the leave policy for this leave type
