Microsoft Teams : Adding the Vacation Tracker Calendar Tab
This article is a step-by-step guide exclusively for the Microsoft Teams integration.
Would you like to view your Vacation Tracker calendar directly in your Microsoft Teams app? This is now possible with our new Vacation Tracker tab option!
This can be helpful to those who are frequently on the go, and may not have the time to log in to their online dashboard. The Vacation Tracker Calendar tab allows all users to view the upcoming leaves on a calendar view, as they would display on the online dashboard.
Here's how to access the Calendar tab within Microsoft Teams:
Open your Microsoft Teams app
Go to the team where Vacation Tracker is installed
Once there, click on the plus sign + at the top of the page to add a new tab
Search for Vacation Tracker in the search bar, or click on Vacation Tracker if it is already in the list
A pop-up window will appear, and you will see an option to select either Overview or Calendar, select Calendar
Click on Save
You should now see the Calendar tab within your Microsoft Teams app!
Similar to the Online Dashboard view, Users will see the color coded Leave Types and Holidays on the calendar view. You can filter this calendar by Department, Location and User Labels (if you are subscribed to our Complete Plan).
You can also update the view to coincide with the start of the work week (Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri). Users also have the option to change the Calendar view to appear as a list by selecting the List View icon on the right-hand side.
